Starstruck: A Cooperative Desktop Game about Connection and Starry Skies.
With an empty galaxy to call home, Nova and David seek to fill it with light. Connected by a rope, the duo travel throughout the universe from planet to planet, collecting stars to fill their own galaxy with constellations.
Play alone or work together with a friend to jump and swing through the universe while avoiding enemies, collecting stars, and teleporting through portals in this puzzle platformer set in the gravity-less space.
Project Role: Design Lead
In spring 2019, I designed this game with 6 others and had the role of design lead. During this project, I practiced and developed the following skills:
Developed the initial concept of this game, starring the two astronaut lovers who traverse the universe while tethered by rope
Illustrated the game’s concept art, including characters, environment, and color palettes
Designed the building blocks, levels, and level progression of the game
Oversaw the work of two other designers who worked on asset creation, color palettes, and sound design
Collaborated with 4 programmers who worked on implementation, the creation of our level editor, among other programming tasks.

At the 2019 Game Design Initiative At Cornell Showcase, Starstruck won awards for both Audience Choice and Most Polished
